Off-Topics / How often do DLC maps come up in regular rotation?
« Last post by jirapon on October 12, 2019, 11:19:42 AM »
I used to play a ton of WWII and am now getting back into it after a long hiatus. I bought the first two map packs on release and love them, but I am afraid to buy 3 and 4 as I hear dlc maps dont come up very much in the rotation now. I also noticed the "Season Pass Playlist" which sounds great but apparently if I buy the packs individually I do not get access to it. Very disappointing. SHG really improved their map design and I've loved every second of play on the first 2 map packs. I really want to play/buy more but is it worth it? Will I even see them with full lobbies?

I made an entire pot of green curry that, while delicious, is beyond what my spice level is. I've made other curries (yellow or red, I forget) and it wasn't this spicy. I was thinking I could maybe add more coconut milk but wouldn't that take away the great flavour? I'm looking for any suggestions on what to do so I don't have to pawn it off on my boyfriend who is more accustomed to spicy foods.

Hello everyone,,
Who plays this? I like it because you get the feel of a terrorist situation on both sides. If anyone plays it, I think my favorite map is Assault New. For anyone else who plays it maybe we can play on that map and have people on both sides. If you don't know, on that map you have to rescue two hostages from a terrorist-held building and bring them to a helicopter and then your team wins the game but the other team has to take out all members of the enemy team and not let them get the hostages.

Off-Topics / 5 Tips to Change Chords IN TIME
« Last post by Mitubhai on October 08, 2019, 11:32:03 AM »
Hello everyone,,

I’d like to share with you this new beginners lesson on how to change chords IN TIME.

Here are my 5 tips to master your chord transitions:

Keep moving your strumming hand. Never stop it to avoid going out of time. Prioritise that over a smooth chord change to avoid gaps between the chords.

Know the best references on the fretting hand and keep the fingers close to the fretboard with a curved shape. Generate the habit of having the fretting hand following the strumming hand and not the other way around.

Don’t focus too much on a perfect sound at the end of the bar, focus more on a clean sound at the beginning of the next chord.

Start your chords from the top and not from the bottom (it applies to most chords).

Practice the chord transitions on the fretting hand only first, without using the picking hand, to train the muscle memory of your fingers.

Full video lesson:

Let me know if you have more tips to share.

Cheers everybody.

Free Discussions / Tobruk map

On Tobruk map, there need to be more land/sea targets, to attract more players. On the sea, there could be british convoy of transports with escort vessels for german pilots to attack. On the other side, few german u-boats could be added to attack for Brits. Anyway, my point is, more targets for bombers are welcomed and when bombers are, there is also a place for enemy fighters, and where enemy fighters are, friendly fighters are needed.

Moreover, initially tanks of both sides may have spawning point at some distance from Tobruk and possibly more artillery could be located there.
Off-Topics / Kannada movie recommendations?
« Last post by JonnyJobin on October 05, 2019, 01:15:06 PM »
I thought a fun way to pick up Kannada would be to see Kannada movies. Any recommendations, preferably modern movies (as much as I appreciate Rajkumar and his contemporaries' contribution to the industry). I am really not interested in 'masala movies' with stunts and songs.

Already saw U-Turn, ending was quite lazy and disappointing, but technically quite well made. Planning on seeing Thithi next, high expectations. (Since they are on Netflix)

Needless to say, the movie would need to have subtitles, which I would assume rule out most of the oldies anyway. I heard quite a lot about kirik party, is it any good? Also, I guess Lucia is a must watch so I'd watch that too. Also that movie about the bald dude (motté something) produced by Pawan Kumar caught eye. Will wait for that too.

Feel free to suggest your favourites.
