This game was good, however, it has been plagued with too many issues to count, most of which are ignored. For me it has gone past the point of frustration and I am no longer willing to play this game, I've spent too long hoping the developer would fix the current issues in the game, only for him to add more broken content, adding more issues to never be resolved. For example, a good 6 months after release the La7 is still completely broken and instead of fixing that we get new bf109s that are arguably worse than the old 109g and British bombers. What's next? Maybe fixing the constant crashes? Graphical issues? Any of the countless broken planes? updating the flight models? Maybe making the aircraft's speed semi realistic? *New map* oh boy now I can play the same broken, borderline unplayable game over a whole new background, that is going to be released buggy and unfinished!! That's exactly what everybody wanted -_-

So, does anybody know of any similar games on mobile? I'm done until the game is playable again.
none that I know of...

This is a list of thing in game that I think are issues and should be changed.

Speed and climb rate of certain planes.
For example the spitfire Mk 2 and the la7's climb rate are too good and the speed of most of the planes is wrong.

The zeros and their carburetors cutting out the engine. The only zeros who's engine died in negative G's were American rebuilds.

The "new" damage model not being on older planes.
It would be nice if the older planes got updated before new content was added. Nobody would mind paying for them again but don't just make them premiums, the issue is that the old damage model is still seen in game. They're much harder to kill in some cases and much easier in others and this seriously effects balance. Update the old ones, don't make new copies like with the a6m2, the old damage model needs to be phased out.

The German tanks.
There's a few issues with these #1 the pz3 and 4 have bigger guns than irl....the pz4 is currently using the rarest model of tiger 2's gun and the pz3 is using the pz4's gun.
The pz3&4 aren't available on Stalingrad due to skins.
The fact that the pz3&4 aren't in Stalingrad when the battle was lead by a battalion of tiger tanks is confusing to say the least. Pz4's were a staple of the German tank core long before Stalingrad.
The pz3 should only get a 50mm not a 75, there are other ways of making a rank better than increasing its damage....
The pz4's starting gun should be a weak 75mm to simulate the short barrel AI Version from real life and should be able to be upgraded to the long 75 that is modeled (but not actually present) in game.
This way players would get the feeling that the t34 is a hard fight with their pz3s and then be able to match it with the pz4, like with real life. However aside from realism this would also give a huge incentive to buy the pz4.

The Stalingrad divide.
Keeping with the theme of Stalingrad, the divide between the tank Stalingrad and the plane Stalingrad means that either everyone is playing one or the other. These maps need to be made into one like with Tobruk and new guinea in order to not further split the player base (especially in realistic)

The way tanks were implemented in new guinea ruins the gameplay. Spawning a tank on an airfield forces the players in planes to play tanks in order to defend the airfield, and especially ruins the Japanese as they don't have any effective anti tank loadout in their planes as they don't have access to rockets. Change the way tanks play by giving them an objective like in Tobruk or Stalingrad.

The Japanese don't have an AA truck.
This is especially annoying considering how badly the Japanese ground forces need this as the Americans have rockets

Toggleable HUD.
I think there should be an option for markings to still appear if HUD is off. I don't want to see the clunky HUD but I still want to see the black dot and my tank's gunsight.

This next section is for realistic only.

The map.
You shouldn't be able to see where planes are on the map, it makes sense if you're landed and radar stations are giving you this information, for example on battle of britian. This would give some huge advantage and an incentive to Destroy the radio stations. However in the air no planes in the game had radar.

Airspawn.
This is such a big issue in realistic, it's just such a big advantage it doesn't make sense not to use it. You don't need to take off or climb or gain altitude, altitude is often the determining factor in a dogfight and that extra 1000 feet is huge. It makes it so that spawning from an airfield actually puts you at a disadvantage, and I understand it's so you can't be killed at spawn but #1 that's what the stationary PLAYABLE AAA is for. #2 there should be minimum two airfields per side per map and they should be far enough apart the enemy can't rush over from one to another quick enough to kill you taking off.
Air spawn is fine in historic and obviously arcade but it's borderline game breaking in realistic. Especially the Russian and German airspawns in Stalingrad where it's right beside the objective. There's nothing realistic about airspawn and it shouldn't be in the mode.

Both sides in Tobruk should have 2 airfields, and far apart. Same for battle of britian and every other map but new guinea which did it right.

Finally, the dominance of late war planes.

Basically to sum this up, everyone plays the best planes they can on a specific map. And that's to be expected, if in war thunder people could take their jets into games with biplanes, they would. That's how wings of duty used to be, but it's taken a step in the right direction by implementing year based maps, however the problem still exists just in a smaller scale. Yes I can't take my Ki84 into pearl harbor, but I can take my a6m2, and so can everyone else, and they will because it's a better plane than anything else, fighter or bomber, than anything the Japanese can use in pearl, same with the b25 in midway, the mk5 spit in battle of britian, etc. The point is that the problem still exists. In real life at the time of these battles, the best planes were in short supply, there weren't many Spitfires to go around during the battle of britian same goes for fw190s or the bf109g10 in Stalingrad. The best planes are everywhere in this game and they don't feel valuable. So to fix this I have come up with an idea. Keep in mind we would keep the year based limitations. Every plane and tank would have a certain value ranging between 1-4 based on how capable it is and how many were in service at the time of the battle. There would also be a set amount of planes useable per x amount of time which is based on that number.

So for example, in the battle of britian, the hurricane mk1 and the bf109e would have a value of 1 which means they would have unlimited spawns with no cooldown. However the 109f and spitfire Mk 1 would have a value of 2 so they get 1 plane for a short timer, maybe 1 minute. So if you crash your spitfire mk1 in one minute you can take another back up. The spitfire mk2 and fw190a3 would have a value of 3 and would be allowed one spawn for a larger amount of time than a value of 2, etc.

So, to re cap, every plane would have a battle specific value and based on that value would be a timer that would start upon the destruction of the aircraft that would not allow that same aircraft to be taken up until the timer is up.

Again this would have to be battle specific, it wouldn't make sense for there to be a million p40s flying around in new guinea.

Some effects of this are, the best planes would instantly become more valuable, if there can only be one bf109G10 and la7 per 6 people then those planes become seriously valuable, they would rule the skies but if they die then they can't use that plane for a certain amount of time, and that time might be just enough for a player to be able to bomb the Stalingrad objective as now their team can escort them more effectively. It would also make it so that more planes get used. Why would I use a G6 when I have the G10? Well if I just crashed my G10 then the best plane I have for the next x minutes is the g 6 and the the G2 etc. It would also make landing absolutely necessary as you lose the plane if you don't land. This would also make it unnecessary to remove airspawns as landing is no longer optional.

This could also lead to some interesting mechanics to do with tanks and bombers. Right now they don't do much, they're fairly separated as bombing a ship on new guinea has no effect on the enemy. However if this timer-plane value system is implemented then you could add ground targets like a plane factory or hangars and destroying it would increase the timer by a little bit, and destroying grounded aircraft could do the same.

You could also add a resupply system from this. Maybe the plane timer is a real thing where the supply of planes is based on a convoy going from point A to point B and destroying the convoy would make the enemy skip a resupply.

This would make bombing much more important, and as a result escorting the bombers. So teamwork would be a super important aspect.

In addition maybe if a tank can make it's way from point A to B and win a battle then the supply of aircraft will be cut off until the base is relieved. The end of a game could be determined by the enemy running out of aircraft and tanks and this could be brought about by their resupply factories, convoys, hangars, ships, etc being captured or destroyed. This would make the combined arms absolutely necessary, same with teamwork.

This system could give birth to a million possibilites and would give bombing a real use, objectives a purpose, fighters a reason to escort, tanks a more balanced effect on the outcome of the game, teamwork a necessity, non top tier planes a purpose and it would feel like you're actually doing something for a purpose rather than mindlessly trying to find the enemy like in call of duty.

If you so dare to break the rules but have a change of heart and make an "apology," then actually clean up your mistakes and be sincere. SHEDLETSKY may have said sorry, but they did nothing to fix their spam. However, I was generous enough to only make it two weeks. Hopefully on their return they do not force a permanent relocation

Does anyone know why the WOD official site is so behind? Like it's multiple months behind as far as news goes. For example it STILL doesn't include the fw190a4 in the plane list...that update was like a year ago. The state of that website is pitiful and it obviously isn't taken care of, does anyone know why?

My tip would have been eating at Vapiano, which is quite a good chain of Italian restaurants.
